ADDICTION RECOVERY SUPPORT WORKER (Part Time and Casual/On Call) ~ Vancouver
We are seeking a local individual who has skills, training and a passion to see people recover from an addictive past. Our addiction recovery and support services are currently offered in downtown Vancouver. The buildings are designed specifically for single people with low incomes who are at risk of being homeless and who currently reside in the downtown south area. The job involves all aspects of addiction recovery support with our tenants who will have completed an abstinence-based transitional supported housing program.
Preferred qualifications for this position would be University degree or College Diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Social Service Work or Trauma & Addiction plus a minimum of two years direct work experience in this field. ASSOCIATE MANAGER (Evening/Nights/Weekends) ~ Vancouver
More Than A Roof Housing is inviting applications from vibrant individuals for the position of Associate Manager at our buildings for singles in downtown Vancouver. We currently have two full time positions for rotating evening, overnight and/or weekend shifts. The job description includes the full range of property management duties. The successful candidates will have good “people skills” and an ability to work within the MTR Housing ministry team setting. Prior experience working with low-income individuals and an understanding of the needs of this tenant group are definite assets. Preference will be given to applicants with property management or related experience. Résumé’s with a cover letter and statement of faith can be directed to the attention of our Operations Manager.
