Our underlying mandate is to carry out our work in such a way that the world around us will take notice. This requires an approach to board business decisions, strategies and actions through the filter that puts people ahead of profits. This intentional “value-added” mindset in many ways puts the “more“ in More Than A Roof.
Our principal focus is always on our core competence – creating inclusive, welcoming communities by providing affordable housing units and expanding our range of social housing support and healthcare services.
This approach has resulted in the growth and expansion of four distinct portfolio divisions: Affordable Family Housing, Healthcare Based Housing, Supportive Housing with onsite support for singles, and Independent Seniors Housing.
In 2005, we founded More Than A Roof Foundation, a conduit for philanthropic support for our brand’s promise of doing and being “More Than” believing, as always, that we are called to more.
